Welcome to the UWE Cyber Challenge. This is a Capture The Flag (CTF) refresher exercise designed to get your problem-solving gears turning again.
Your mission is to locate 6 hidden flags. The challenges start easy but get progressively harder, testing everything from careful web inspection to basic reverse engineering. Dive in and see how many you can uncover.
Flags are of the format:- UWE{<Flag_Text>}
Inspect this page carefully and you will find two flags to get you started, plus a pointer to where you can continue your search.
NOTE: Brute-forcing the website or directories is NOT required and is strictly prohibited. All flags can be found through careful inspection and logical deduction.
Prizes
This competition is open to everyone of all skill levels! You don't need to be a cyber security expert to take part.
Each flag you submit counts as one entry into the prize draw. This means finding just one flag gives you a shot at winning the top prize. However, the more flags you find, the better your odds—so give it a go and see how far you can get!

The closing date for the competition is: Sunday 8th February @ 23:59 GMT. Ensure you submit your flags before this time.Winners will be contacted shortly after the closing date via their UWE Student email address.
